Wonderful House Chinese Restaurant: Authentic Chinese Dining in Trinidad, CO

This place offers some pretty good Chinese food at very reasonable prices. All of your Chinese standards are on the menu along with a few specials. I ordered a daily special which included a cup of soup, tender pork pieces, and an egg roll along with my broccoli and beef with fried rice. The service was extremely fast. I had my soup within two minutes of ordering and the rest of my items within 5 minutes of ordering. I went at 5 pm and the place was already about 3/4 full with what I assume to be local regulars at the restaurant.

Always our first stop for food when we enter Colorado. Clean restaurant, friendly staff that are always happy. Good food. Nice, small town feel.

The Chinese Food Restaurant was surprisingly delicious. Everyone we asked recommended Wonderful House over every restaurant in Trinidad! The portions were very large and the quality was perfect! Finally the prices were great. I would highly recommend if you are staying here or just passing through!

Absolutely delicious! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had for a ridiculously low price They substituted sweet and sour chicken for sweet and sour pork on my combination plate with no additional charge and gave me nearly 3lbs of food for only $15! The staff are also incredibly friendly and the restaurant is so charming. This is such a gem, literally everything you want in a Chinese restaurant. The food is so good it’s worth driving all the way from Denver to eat here

Who would have thought the best chinese food in the state of Colorado is in Trinidad. We stopped here while traveling and read all the great reviews. They were spot on. This place is awesome. We had the Family Dinner for 2. The seafood soup was super flavorful and a great texture. The double mushroom beef and ham fried rice were a first for us and were both delicious. The honey walnut shrimp was fresh, hot and delicious.

Absolutely the BEST Dining Experience in Trinidad! We just had the best eating-out experience in Trinidad — hands down. Locals probably already know this, but Wonderful House is without a doubt the best Asian food around. If you’re a tourist or just passing through, don’t even hesitate — this is your only real choice. We went on a crowded Friday night, and although some reviews mention slow service, that was not our experience at all. Yes, it took a little while — but that’s because great food takes time. Patience leads to perfection, and wow, was it worth it. My wife ordered the Orange Chicken and immediately declared it the best she has ever had — anywhere. That’s saying something! I had the Walnut Shrimp, and it was absolutely incredible — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. We started with the Po Po platter as an appetizer, and it was delicious from start to finish. Looking around the restaurant, every table seemed just as happy as we were. The atmosphere was upbeat and welcoming, with a genuinely joyful vibe throughout the place. Our waiter was funny, attentive, and polite — the perfect balance of professional and personable. The kind lady at the front even came by to check on us, which made the whole experience feel warm and personal. This place hits on every level: food, service, atmosphere, and overall experience. The vibe is clear — this isn’t just the best in Trinidad, it’s one of the best anywhere. Period. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommended!

Had the lunch special here today. Food was delicious and affordable and staff were friendly! The owner, Kelly, made me feel very welcome and provided great service. Will definitely be back!

Great authentic asian food. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and welcoming. Portions are large and amazing. I enjoyed the crab ragoons, i do recommend. Was told to pass on the Lo Mein. If you liked zit spicy , you must ask for extra spicy . I will be back if i am in the area again
